How Do Injectables Work
Botox, Jeuveau, and Dysport all work in the same way. They relax overactive muscles by blocking certain motor receptors in the treatment area. How Quickly Do injectables Work?
Neurotoxins work quickly. In just two to four days, you may begin to notice results. About 50% of patients see visible effects within two to three days, with the full effect typically seen after two weeks.
Most clients observe excellent results with the advised dosage, but clients with larger or stronger muscles may require higher doses, especially during their first treatment. In rare cases, individuals with very severe cosmetic concerns may need up to 2.5 weeks and a follow-up treatment to achieve their desired outcome.
Who Are The Best Candidates for Injectable Treatment?
Neurotoxins are safe and effective for most individuals with concerns about excessively tense muscles. For cosmetic purposes, ideal candidates are generally healthy adults aged 18 or older.
Who Is a Poor Fit for Neuromodulator Injections?
This treatment is not recommended if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. You also will be considered a poor fit for this treatment if you suffer from bleeding or blood clotting disorders, skin irritation, or heart problems. Also, there is a chance that you will not qualify for neuromodulator injections if you are allergic to bovine protein. Please review your complete allergy history with the NAWI team prior to any treatment.
