Facial & Body Hair Removal at NAWI in Naples, Florida

Facial & Body Hair Removal

NAWI offers two, very effective treatment options for facial & body hair removal, Dermaplaning and Laser Hair Removal. The NAWI team will recommend the most effective treatment plan for your particular hair color and skin type.

  • The first treatment option is called Dermaplaning.  This treatment exfoliates your skin and vellus hair, better known as “peach fuzz.”
  • The second treatment option is Laser Hair Removal. This treatment will permanently remove unwanted hair.

Dermaplaning for Facial hair removal

Dermaplaning is different from dermabrasion, where an aesthetician or doctor uses a high-speed, rotating brush to exfoliate the skin. With dermaplaning, a very fine scalpel, called a dermatome, removes the top layer of dead skin and any unwanted hair. The exfoliation and hair removal will leave your skin brighter and smoother. The treatment may also soften fine lines and wrinkles and ease hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone.

NAWI recommends once a month treatment.  For the best results, dermaplaning is often combined with another skin rejuvenation treatment, called the HydraFacial. Click here for more information about the Hydrafacial MD treatment.

Permanent Facial and Body Hair Removal

Laser hair removal is an innovative and highly effective cosmetic procedure that offers a permanent solution to unwanted hair growth. This treatment utilizes focused laser beams to gently remove hair follicles at the root, preventing regrowth and leaving your skin silky-smooth for the long term. When the laser light penetrates your skin, it converts into heat energy, which damages the hair follicle and prevents it from growing.

Laser hair removal treatment can be used to address unwanted hair in the bikini area, legs, underarms, neck, face, back, chest, and arms. Laser hair removal is effective for everyone.
